Serve Illinois has received philanthropic support from the California Volunteers Fund to support the development and launch of a state climate corps.
Structure
Managed by Serve Illinois Commission to award a minimum of two sub grantees serving Souther, Western IL while leveraging AmeriCorps funding for the 2025 program year. Serve IL will use CVF funds to augment approved sub-grantees.
State connections
The Serve IL Commission will wrok with internal resources thru IDHS, Governor’s Office, and State and National funds.
